The Kansas Granges.

Being born and raised in Kansas I have a particular interest in seeing how the Grange Halls are fairing there. I started doing a web search and found this sad site.

This is the Banner Grange Hall. The Grange was recently disbanded and the property sold.

It is my hope that by networking with each other we can begin preventing such events, and even perhaps be reclaiming some of these old historic community centers.

Next up my search for Bayneville #1810 in Clearwater, KS 67026  I found this note:

This organization's exempt status was automatically revoked by the IRS for failure to file a Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N, or 990-PF for 3 consecutive years. Further investigation and due diligence are warranted.

By following the link on the map, the building looks like it could be a grange hall. It is located at the fair grounds.


Blue Mound Grange #2230 - is actually a Grange in Missouri - so in this instance does not count. I don't know why I am happy it is not in Kansas.

They meet on the First Saturday of the month at the Carbondale City Hall
Fairplain 1719: Yay! another hall stands. Needs a Paint Job. These are the kinds of schools I attended through 8th Grade. 

Meets monthly on the third Monday 7 PM.

Gardner 68 Grange Hall, just east of the pools. Nice Hall!!! Great location!

Neosho Valley 1883

Meet 2nd Thursday at
Kelly Hall, Burlington
Their map link takes you to Kelly Hall in Burlington Vermont. But I assume there is a Kelly Hall in Burlington, Kansas - - - further research: Kelly Hall, is located in Kelley Park at 625 South 3rd Street
6:30 pm pot luck supper, 7:30 pm meeting. A few times a year, the meeting location is changed. Contact Roy Rodgers at 620-364-5792 with questions.
